
- Ariel Aber has joined CBRE as vice chair to focus on institutional investment transactions for commercial assets across New York City. Aber joins CBRE from DivcoWest, where he served as managing director and head of New York investments for seven years. Before that, he was director of real estate for AmTrust Financial.Â
- Alex Meirowitz has joined the New York office of Milbank LLP as a partner in the firm’s Real Estate Group. Meirowitz represents clients in a wide range of complex commercial real estate transactions, focusing on both debt and equity representations. He joins Milbank from Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, where he was a partner in the Real Estate Group.Â
- MONTICELLOAM, LLC, a specialized multifamily and seniors housing bridge lending platform, appointed Patti Unti as portfolio manager. She brings nearly three decades of commercial real estate experience across a range of disciplines, including debt, equity, asset management, structured finance, portfolio management and investment banking.Â
- Cresa has named Tony Juliano to Managing Principal—Northeast Region. In this expanded role, Juliano will support the firm’s New York City and New Jersey offices with growth, recruiting, M&A activity, and client service delivery, building on a proven track record of success in the Philadelphia market.Â
- Levin Management Corporation (LMC) has appointed Jeanette Oliver as CFO. Prior to joining LMC, she was chief accounting officer at Silverstein Properties Inc. and previously served as accounting director at Forest City Ratner Companies.Â

- Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) Chair and CEO Janno Lieber appointed Thomas J. Taffe as Chief of the MTA Police Department (MTAPD). Taffe had served as Acting Chief of the MTAPD for four months, bringing 30 years of law enforcement experience including more than two years as the MTAPD Chief of Operations.Â
- Third Avenue Management LLC said the Third Avenue Real Estate Value UCITS Fund was named the Best Global Real Estate Fund Over Three Years and the Best Global Real Estate Fund Over Five Years at the 2025 LSEG Lipper Funds Awards in Europe, Switzerland, France, and the U.K. The 2025 Awards were presented for the fund’s performance over the three-year and five-year period ended Dec. 31, 2024 and mark the seventh time the Third Avenue team has been recognized by LSEG Lipper.Â
