A new garage at Nashville International Airport is designed to accommodate 4,700 rental vehicles and 3,000 parking spaces for passengers. The new six-story facility will be located in front of the existing Terminal Garages. The job is expected to cost $900 million.  Messer Construction Co. and Sundt Construction have been granted the construction contract. The facility is expected to be complete in 2029.
Added benefits of the six-story development include quick-turnaround areas with fueling and car-wash capabilities, bridges and roadways connecting Terminal Drive to the new facility, and infrastructure to support airport shuttle operations. The addition will also include a customer service building for rental car companies.
Nashville International Airport has spent $4.5 billion on its expansion since 2017.
