The Motorola Razr Ultra 2026 is now official, and pre-orders will begin on May 14. The official release date for the Motorola Razr Ultra 2026 is going to be May 21. The Razr Ultra 2026 price is $1,499.
The Razr Ultra 2026 is going to be available from Best Buy and Motorola.com starting on May 14 for pre-orders. Orders shipping by May 21. Unfortunately, none of the US carriers will be carrying the Razr Ultra this year. So you’ll only be able to buy it unlocked, but fortunately, you will be able to use it on any of the three US carriers. It is fully compatible with AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon networks!
The Razr Ultra 2026 got a few meaningful upgrades this year
This year, Motorola raised the price of the Razr Ultra 2026 by $200, making it $1,499. That’s quite pricey for a flip phone, considering Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip 7 starts at $1,099. But Motorola is kicking things off with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage – two things Samsung does not have. It also has a larger battery this year, at 5,000mAh. This is because Motorola is using Silicon-Carbon across all of its Razr phones this year, including the new Razr Fold.
The cameras also got a few upgrades this time around. But perhaps the biggest upgrade is the Razr Ultra 2026 main camera using a LOFIC sensor now. This should really improve the camera quality, especially when it comes to dynamic range. We’ll have to see how it stacks up versus the competition once we get our unit in for testing.
The Razr Ultra 2026 is a pretty small upgrade, but when you factor in all of the changes this year, and the current memory crisis, it does make for a pretty solid upgrade. Though if you bought last year’s Ultra, it might not be a worthy upgrade.
