Motorola has been launching new true wireless earbuds for the past few years, some of which have been popular options among fans, and the most recent offering, the Moto Buds 2 Plus, opens the floor for the question of whether or not Motorola plans to launch an Ultra model. Take a look at Motorola’s Razr lineup. You have the base model, the Razr, and then there’s the Razr Plus, and then the Razr Ultra. The Ultra being the flagship offering with the best specs and features.
The presence of the Moto Buds 2 and now the Moto Buds 2 Plus, leads you to think that Motorola does indeed have plans to launch a pair of Moto Buds 2 Ultra. That is reportedly going to be the case, and they’re said to be coming soon.
Moto Buds 2 Ultra claimed to be coming in November
Motorola has not officially announced the Moto Buds 2 Ultra, nor is there really any official information about them, or plans to bring them to market. Having said that, well-known leaker Evan Blass has now stated that the Moto Buds 2 Ultra are real, and that they’re coming soon. Specifically, he says that the time frame to look out for is “early November.”
Early November could mean a few things, and Blass doesn’t make it explicitly clear when exactly these will arrive. There’s no exact day or time mentioned. Just a window. It’s also not mentioned if early November is meant to be the announcement for these new earbuds, or if it’s meant to be a launch date.
Since these are the “ultra” model of these earbuds, they will have some features that the other two pairs don’t. What those features are is unknown. But, Motorola wouldn’t launch a more high-end pair without adding new features.
