Mini is not a brand most folks think of when they want a vehicle for off-roading. Thanks to its success in rallying and racing in Europe in the 1960s, Mini’s offerings are more associated with excelling on gravel or asphalt than on rugged trails. However, the company is taking advantage of the popularity of other brands that offer tougher versions of their machines for rock crawling by teasing a meaner Countryman.
