Metro Services Group, a national provider of janitorial and engineering services with a concentrated presence in California and the Pacific Northwest, announced that Jacqueline Korajkic will become CEO effective Jan. 1, 2027. She succeeds founder and CEO Michael Oddo, who will remain chairman of the board of the company he founded over 30 years ago. Company President Derek Schulze will continue in his role.
“Jacqueline has been central to Metro’s development for nearly a decade, and she has earned this opportunity through the breadth of her accomplishments,” said Oddo. “She understands the financial side of the business, but just as importantly, she understands our operations, our people and our clients. She is involved in virtually every aspect of growing the company.”
Korajkic joined Metro in 2018 as an accountant and rose through the organization to CFO. Much of her work happened behind the scenes, building the technology, people and financial foundations that support Metro’s leaders and clients. She also played a central role in facilitating Metro’s ownership transition to an employee stock option plan.
