Bose is reportedly gearing up to launch a new pair of over-ear headphones this year called the QuietComfort (2nd Gen), and while there is no confirmed date for a launch of these new headphones, a full set of leaked images showcases the complete design and a full range of color options for consumers to choose from. Not to mention a few features that consumers can expect from this familiar Audio staple in the headphone space that rival the Sony WH-1000X series headphones.
The design hasn’t changed drastically from Bose’s currently available model, the QuietComfort, but there are subtle differences that fans will be able to pick out. For example, this new model features a much larger section of the cushioned inner headband than on the original QuietComfort headphones. Some of the leaked images are also marketing images that describe some of the upgrades that Bose has given this new pair. “Now with TrueSpatial tech for fuller, wider sound,” one image reads. Another boasts about the softer, synthetic leather details on the headband and ear cushions.

Bose tends to release its headphones and earbuds in several colors, and that isn’t changing. The leaked images confirm that Bose will be launching the new headphones in six different colors. The previous generation headphones are currently available in 10 different colors, with at least one out of stock at Bose’s website. That isn’t an indication that Bose will release more colors of this new model, but it’s possible.
For specific color names, HotEUDeals states, who leaked these images alongside Steve H. McFly on X, states that the colors offered are officially called Black, White Smoke, Rosewood Mauve, DewDrop Mint, Eucalyptus Green, and Hazelnut Taupe. In addition to the new wave of colors, the QuietComfort (2nd Gen) features contrasting colors for the mesh of the ear pads. There’s a new carrying case, too, which has a slightly rounder shape on the top and bottom compared to the carry case that comes with the original.
No specs are mentioned, but one of the images confirms that “legendary QuietControl noise cancellation” is present, while another mentions a “refreshed look with a sleek, modern aesthetic.”
