The Durst Organization said Wednesday that full-service law firm Nutter is expanding its office at 5 Grand Central East to 11,438 square feet. Nutter will take the entire 25th floor, in addition to renewing the existing office space on the 27th floor.
“The Manhattan office leasing market is surging, especially for Class A spaces in transit-accessible locations such as Grand Central East,” said Jody Durst, president of The Durst Organization.“Nutter’s decision to expand at 5 Grand Central East reflects the desirability of the area and Durst’s long-term investment in our buildings.”
The Durst Organization was represented in-house by Tom Bow, Ashlea Aaron, Bailey Caliban and Sayo Kamara. Nutter was represented by Mike Joyce and Trevor Larkin of CBRE. Ownership is deploying $16 million in capital investments at 5 Grand Central East to bring state-of-the-art infrastructure to the building, which was rebranded from 655 Third Ave. at the end of 2025.
