Following a few years of the bizarre viral trend of youths stealing Hyundai and Kia vehicles (including the popular Elantra, thanks to a security flaw that saw thefts of the Korean automaker’s cars skyrocket during the COVID-19 pandemic), it looks like the trend of rising thievery in the U.S. is finally declining, and by the biggest margin in 40 years. Just, sadly, not for Hyundai and Kia, which still sit at the top of the list of most stolen cars in America.
