INIU is back with new charging products, and these ones are made for the outdoors. The company presented its ‘Rugged Series’ of devices. As part of this launch, INIU also partnered with Strava and the American Hiking Society.
INIU Outdoor is here, the company’s new rugged-focused charging product line
The first members of the INIU Outdoor Rugged Series are the Rugged 10000 Power Bank, Rugged 20000 Power Bank, and Solar Panel 28W. The star of the show is the Rugged 10000 Power Bank, as that one will almost certainly be the most in-demand one. It’s an ideal capacity for most people, and it has a great size-to-function ratio.
INIU actually says that this is the “world’s first professional-grade outdoor power lineup to combine IP67 protection, drop-tested durability, fast charging, a compact and lightweight design, a purpose-built solar ecosystem, built-in lighting, and broad compatibility with essential outdoor gear.”
You’re getting an IP67 certification along with drop resistance
The company’s new lineup is not only IP67 certified for water and dust resistance, but it is drop-tested for drops from 3.9 ft / 1.2m. In other words, we’re looking at the MIL-STD-810G 516.6 certification.
The INIU Outdoor Rugged 10000 Power Bank weighs 195.7 grams (6.9 oz), while the 20000 variant weighs 353.2 grams (12.5 oz). That’s another reason why the 10000mAh model will be a more ideal option for many people, even though the 20000mAh variant is not exactly too bulky considering what it offers.
The silicone-armored bodies protect these power banks from scratches and drops, while they’re also grippier than you’d think. They’re certainly a lot grippier than regular aluminum-clad power banks.
65W charging is on board, along with tech that ensures safe charging
These power banks can provide you with 65W wired charging for phones, cameras, drones, lightweight laptops, and more. They also have an Automatic Low-Current Mode that safely adjusts to charging smaller essentials such as earbuds.
INIU Outdoor even placed a light in these power banks, so that they double as capable flashlights when the sun goes down. You never know when you might need one. There’s also a steady red light option to preserve night vision, and a flashing red light to stay visible.
A detachable carabiner is included in the package
These power banks also come with a detachable carabiner, a 1/4-20 standard tripod thread, sealed port cover, and easy-to-read battery indicators.
INIU also made sure the INIU Outdoor brand line comes with an 18-layer SmartProtect system, that protects against overcharging, overcurrent, short circuits, overheating, and temperature-related risks. They also come with a whopping 5-year warranty from the company.
They have a number of advantages over the competition
These power banks do offer a number of advantages over more regular power banks from competitors. Like the built-in light, which almost none of them have, or dual Type-C ports, and a weight under 200 grams. A table below will give you a good idea of what I’m talking about.

As part of the Strava partnership, INIU Outdoor presented a 100-minute Outdoor Challenge. It encourages people to get outside and explore. It kicks off on October 12 and will last until November 11. Participants can complete a total of 100 minutes of outdoor activity on Strava to unlock exclusive INIU rewards and enter the Rugged Prize Pool Giveaway.
The 10,000mAh variant is available starting today
The INIU Outdoor Rugged 10000 Power Bank is actually available starting today, while the 20000 variant will go on sale in early November. You can grab this power bank from Amazon, iniushop.com, or Target.
