According to a new report, Samsung is aiming to provide two of its upcoming Galaxy S27 smartphones with an improved Privacy Display. That feature, as many of you know, debuted with the Galaxy S26 Ultra earlier this year.
The Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra will ship with improved Privacy Display
This new report comes from SamMobile. The report does not detail how the company plans to improve the feature, though. It is said that both the Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra will offer the feature this time around.
So, the Galaxy S27 Pro will not only be the newcomer to the Galaxy S series, but it will also be the first non-Ultra phone to offer the Privacy Display feature.
That’s not all, though. The source also claims that the two phones will have “enhanced display brightness,” which will make them much easier to see under direct sunlight.
The other two phones will not get the feature at all
What about the Galaxy S27 and Galaxy S27+, you may wonder? Well, those two phones will not get the Privacy Display feature, as a previous report suggested. Privacy Display will be reserved for Pro and Ultra models only, at least for now.
All four of these smartphones are expected to arrive in Q1 2027. In fact, they’re expected to drop in either January or February; it all depends. Those are the two months that Samsung has been utilizing for launching Galaxy S phones for years now.
The Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra will also come with a new camera plateau on the back. The base and ‘Plus’ models will not, however. Those two phones will look basically the same as the current-gen models.
We’ve already shown you the designs of the Galaxy S27, Galaxy S27 Pro, and Galaxy S27 Ultra. The Galaxy S27+ will look the same as the Galaxy S27, but it will be bigger, of course.
