HONOR is preparing to announce a smartphone with an 11,000mAh battery and an extremely bright display. As we’re waiting for that to happen, some specs of that phone have appeared, thanks to a China Telecom listing.
The HONOR X80 Pro Max specs have been revealed
The device in question is the HONOR X80 Pro Max. Thanks to the aforementioned listing, we know that the device will be fueled by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 processor. Android 16 will also be included, with MagicOS 10.0 on top of it.
Furthermore, the listing mentions a 6.8-inch display, and HONOR did previously confirm that the said display will offer a 10,000-nit peak brightness. You’ll never get that high, but that’s the theoretical peak brightness here.
When it comes to cameras, we now have information about two of them. A 50-megapixel main camera will be included, along with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. So that’s not a full picture, but it’s something.
It will be only 8mm thick despite having an 8,000mAh battery
The listing also mentioned that the phone will ship with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. It’s unclear if that’s the only variant, but it’s most likely not. We also know that the device will measure 8.08mm when it comes to thickness, and it will weigh 203 grams.
That’s all the information that the listing shared. The HONOR X80 Pro Max will feature a flat display, with a centered display camera hole up top. It will have a flat frame and a flat backplate. A circular camera island will sit on the back. HONOR did previously confirm that 90W wired charging will also be available, along with 27W reverse wired charging.
It seems like HONOR will go for vegan leather on the back of at least a couple of these models. By the looks of it, both vegan leather and glass variants will be available. The phone is coming in four colors: Energic Orange, Lightning Red, Shadow White, and Mystic Black
