As mobile gaming continues to grow more companies seem to be entering the gaming tablet space, and Honor is the latest with the launch of the Win Tablet, a device that it just launched in China this week. The Win Tablet is a high-end mobile gaming tablet that comes powered by the kind of specs you would come to expect from a device of this nature. Though this is still Honor, which usually prices things a little lower, and that has an impact on the components. Not by much in this case though.
The Win Tablet is using Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. This is last year’s chipset, but it’s also still very powerful and will allow for some high-quality mobile gaming. Paired with that chipset is 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, but this is also the base model and Honor does offer one with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage at a slightly higher price.
For the display, Honor is using an 8.4-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2,304 x 1,440, and a refresh rate of up to 240Hz. Additionally, it has a peak brightness of 6,000 nits according to Honor, and a 10,000mAh battery that supports 66W wired charging, bypass charging, and 27W reverse charging.

The Honor Win Tablet will launch in China at 4,499 Yuan
This tablet will not be coming to the US, and instead will launch as a China-only gaming tablet for 4,499 Yuan for the base model. The model with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage will retail for 5,499 Yuan. These are the suggested retail prices though and there is some variance. For example, Notebookcheck reports that there will be early bird prices available, which are 4,199 Yuan and 5,199 Yuan, respectively. This is also before China’s national subsidy. After the subsidy the prices are 3,699 Yuan and 4,699 Yuan.
Honor hasn’t announced a launch of the Win tablet outside of China, but US consumers and consumers from other regions can look to something like the REDMAGIC Astra 2 as an alternative option.
