As expected, the recently announced HONOR Magic 9 Pro Max will debut globally in the next few months. Recent teasers show a January 2027 launch in Europe. HONOR’s UK and French websites are showing the image above, which shows a January launch window. So far, HONOR has not announced a specific launch date or pricing.
While the wording on the UK website refers more broadly to the entire Magic 9 series, I doubt the UK will see the full Magic 9 series launch there. Typically, companies launch more options in China than globally.
HONOR recently launched the Magic 9 series in China, including the Magic 9, Magic 9 Super, and Magic 9 Pro Max. HONOR has so far only showcased the Magic 9 Pro Max in Europe, but by using the ‘series’ branding here, it suggests we could see another model make the move internationally.
Magic 9 Pro Max will come with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage
HONOR has already confirmed that Europe will get 12GB of RAM with 256GB and 512GB of storage configurations for the Magic 9 Pro Max. It is also powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, which was announced at Snapdragon Summit last month.
HONOR has equipped it with a 6.8-inch OLED display with 10,000 nits of peak brightness. It also has an incredible PWM rate of 4,320 Hz; HONOR is the only OEM that focuses on PWM rates these days.
Magic 9 Pro Max was announced in three colors: Shadow Black, Glacier Silver, and Moss Green. However, we’re unsure if all three will come to Europe and the UK. Moss Green will most likely be available, since it is the color used in all their marketing.
Pricing is a huge question mark right now; with the current RAM crisis, this won’t be a cheap phone. This could easily be north of €1,500, given how fast component costs are rising.
