Hisense had two main announcements at IFA 2026 in Berlin. The first one is its AI-powered ‘Companion Living’, and the second is the extension of its UEFA partnership, which we’ll talk more about later on. Let’s focus on the first announcement.
Hisense showed off its AI-powered home vision at IFA 2026
Hisense essentially presented its vision of ‘Companion Living’ at IFA 2026, under the theme “Innovating a Brighter Life”. The company is basically bringing AI into everyday experiences with its V AIOS and AI Companion Suite.
At the center of it all is V AIOS, says Hisense. That is the next evolution of VIDAA OS, and it’s built around four core AI capabilities: Senses, Think, Communicate, and Execute. The company claims that all this, together, enables V AIOS to sense people, devices, and their surroundings, and understand context and intent.
On top of that, it should be able to communicate naturally and coordinate content, devices, and services to take action on the user’s behalf.
The AI Companion Suite brings intelligence into three everyday areas, says Hisense. Those areas are Cooking, Laundry, and Air & Energy. It should be able to understand individual food preferences, available ingredients, and context. The kitchen can coordinate the refrigerator, oven, and other appliances to recommend what to make and guide through the cooking process.
When it comes ot laundry, the same intelligence helps take the guesswork out of the equation. It should be able to recognize fabrics and coordinate washing and drying for the way each item should be treated. You get the point: everything should be connected and also smarter in the process.
Hisense extended its partnership with UEFA for EURO 2028
When it comes to the UEFA announcement, Hisense announced its partnership with the company for UEFA EURO 2028. That’s basically an extension of an existing partnership. It’s the fourth consecutive UEFA European Championship partnership between the two companies.
