Apple is expected to announce its 20th-anniversary iPhones next year. As a reminder, the original iPhone arrived in June 2007. Well, in September 2027, the iPhone 20 Pro and iPhone 20 Pro Max are expected to drop.

Having said that, a well-known tipster just showed us what the iPhone 20 Pro Max could look like: its design. You can see that image below, though do keep in mind this is not a leak of the actual device.
This render has been made by Ice Universe. The phone, as you can see, is expected to ship with no bezels, basically. It’s also expected to have a curved display on all sides and a smaller Dynamic Island. Even smaller than on the iPhone 18 Pro devices.
There is also a chance that Apple could ditch the Dynamic Island and switch over to a punch-hole design, like Android phones have been rocking for years.
The original plan, a while back, was for the Dynamic Island to be removed entirely, so that only the display remains without obstructions on it. That won’t be happening, though, it seems. Maybe down the road.
The current-gen iPhones have an under-display camera
This year, with the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, Apple did place Face ID under the display. The company did not do the same with the camera on those two phones, but it did on the iPhone Duo’s main display.
This basically goes to show that Apple can place both of those under the display. It remains to be seen if it will do it at the same time, at some point soon.
Apple is expected to skip the iPhone 19 name altogether, and jump from the iPhone 18 straight ot the iPhone 20. The iPhone 18 was not announced alongside the iPhone 18 Pro series, by the way; it’s rumored to arrive next year… maybe. One rumor suggested it could be replaced by the iPhone Air 2.
In any case, the iPhone 20 Pro and iPhone 20 Pro Max are expected to drop in September next year. Their display sizes have been revealed recently.
