The Play Store is hiding a little secret, and it’s a secret that could score you a nice little discount on a Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, or Pixel 11 Pro Fold. Google officially announced the Pixel 11 series phones on August 12, and there are dozens of deals on these phones across retailers like Amazon, and even the online Google Store and Google Fi websites.
But you can also snatch up discounts through Google Play of all places. To find these discounts, you’ll have to venture into a specific section of the app, but it’s also worth noting that not all users are going to see these discounts, and it’s unclear what dictates whether or not they show up for users.
Play Store Pixel 11 discounts can be found on the Google Play Points page
If you want to see whether or not you have any discounts yourself, you can do so by going to the Play Points page in the Play Store. You can get to that by tapping the Play Points icon in the top right corner, which sits right next to your profile icon.
According to Droid Life, the offers seem to be linked to your Play Points level, and it’s believed that this will determine how much of a discount you have. It’s unclear how high the discounts go. For Droid Life, the discounts include $175 off the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, or $150 off the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, and Pixel 11 Pro XL.
Another image shows the discounts for the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, and Pixel 11 Pro XL at $125, while the Pixel 11 Pro Fold discount is still $175. Offers are required to be claimed by August 30 or they expire. Google also says these offers are “only good while supplies last.”
