Pixel Screen Reactions is an upcoming feature that will be exclusive to Pixel phones, at least initially, and it looks like Google may be gearing up to push that feature out to users in the near future. New ads have been discovered that tease several features which aren’t currently available for Pixel devices. This includes Screen Reactions, which was shown off during Google I/O 2026 at Google’s Android Show discussion.
Much like the name suggests, Screen Reactions is based around showing your reactions on screen when watching other videos. Reaction videos have become a huge thing on YouTube and other video sharing platforms like TikTok in recent years. This style of content isn’t universally loved, but it’s incredibly popular, hence Google’s rollout of this new feature.
Based on the teaser ads, the official videos of which have now seemingly been pulled from official channels, highlight creators now being able to get rid of extra apps and equipment. Reactions can now be recorded straight from your Pixel phone.
Pixel Screen Reactions isn’t the only feature that’s likely part of the next Feature Drop
In addition to the Screen Reactions feature, Google was also reportedly teasing ads for AI Music Generation. There was also a mention of Gemini Omni. So this suggests that Google is readying up up some more Omni-powered functions for its phones.
These video teaser ads were all available on Amazon at one point earlier on June 15, but the teasers appear to have been taken down. They were likely pushed out prematurely, so the removal makes sense. As for when the Pixel Feature Drop is happening, it’s not quite clear yet as Google hasn’t confirmed it. It’s been a few months since the last one. So, the next feature drop shouldn’t be too far away now. It is worth noting, too, that Screen Reactions can be checked out if you’re using the latest Android 17 QPR1 Beta build.
