The Fitbit Edge is Google’s latest tracker that hasn’t officially hit the market yet, but Google has started to drop little hints about its arrival, and has even tossed out its first teaser for the device on the official Google Health social channels.
The design of the Fitbit Edge has leaked already and there have been a few rumors about the tracker’s specs and price points in certain regions. For example, a report from earlier this week details a rumor that says the Fitbit Edge will cost between $149 and $199 in the US. A separate report detailed some of the specs, like a 1.34-inch AMOLED display, Bluetooth 5.4 support, and a battery life that will last for up to 7 days on a single charge.

Google’s Fitbit Edge teaser tells users to “get an edge on their health”
Google of course doesn’t outright announce the Fitbit Edge in this teaser, but the post is worded in a way that’s intended to give users a pretty obvious hint. “Get an edge on your health,” the post on X reads, followed by a date of October 12, 2026. This is Google telling the public that it plans to reveal the Fitbit Edge on this day without actually saying as much. It’s not clear if pre-orders will go up on the same day or if Google will just plan to make it available for purchase immediately.
In addition to the text on this post, Google has shared a teaser image to go along with it, and it looks like the Fitbit Edge tracker in the Canyon color that was rumored from one of the earlier reports. In the image you also see the tracker’s Champagne Gold chassis, which carries a matte finish with a polished Champagne Gold button. In addition to the Canyon and Champagne Gold, the Fitbit Edge will also come in Obsidian and Matte Black, Olive and and Satin Pyrite, and Fog and Polished Silver according to rumors, which match up with the colors of the Pixel Watch 5.
