Alongside the debut of the Google Pixel 11, Google introduced a fresh suite of official first-party protective cases tailored specifically for its latest compact flagship. For buyers picking up the new device, securing proper protection is often the very first step following a pre-order.
Google is offering two primary first-party case solutions for the device: the standard Pixelsnap Case and the Pixelsnap Clear Case. Here is a breakdown of what these official cases offer in terms of design, drop protection, and magnetic accessory support.
Official Pixelsnap Case and Clear Case details
Both official first-party cases have a $49.99 price tag through the Google Store and authorized retailers.
The standard Pixelsnap Case is crafted from a durable, soft-touch silicone material. It’s designed to improve grip and to absorb shock from accidental drops. The case features dedicated button covers and elevated lip protection around the display and rear camera visor. Google states that the case underwent extensive drop testing to ensure maximum daily protection. The Pixelsnap Case will be available in four color options with matching shades designed to complement the Pixel 11’s official finishes.
For users who prefer to show off the original color finish of their device, the Pixelsnap Clear Case offers a see-through design constructed from scratch-resistant polycarbonate. Unlike previous clear models, it incorporates a secondary magnet at the lower rear section to ensure snap-on card wallets and magnetic stands remain perfectly aligned during use.
Full compatibility with Pixelsnap and magnetic accessories
A major highlight of Google’s first-party case lineup is built-in magnetic support. The Pixel 11 already integrates magnetic hardware into its rear chassis. So, official cases maintain seamless compatibility with the entire Pixelsnap ecosystem.
This means you can easily attach official magnetic add-ons like the Pixelsnap Ring Stand, Pixelsnap Charger with Stand, and standard Pixelsnap Charger directly over the case without losing magnetic hold or wireless charging efficiency. Furthermore, both cases are fully compatible with third-party magnetic accessories and the majority of MagSafe-compatible chargers, grips, and mounts. After all, they do not interfere with the camera bar width.
Core hardware highlights
The Pixel 11 features a compact 6.3-inch display protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Under the hood, the device is powered by Google’s latest Tensor G6 chip (built in 2nm) and a 4,985mAh battery. It supports 30W USB-C PPS wired fast charging and upgraded 25W Qi2.2 wireless charging, representing a substantial improvement over the 15W wireless charging speeds offered on last year’s Pixel 10.
