Yet another Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 dummy model has surfaced online, this time in black color. This leak follows dummies that surfaced early in June, in light blue and white colors.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8, as many of you know by now, is said to be the company’s new wide foldable, not a direct successor to the Galaxy Z Fold 7. Samsung decided to complicate things, name-wise.
A direct successor to the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, which will arrive alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 8. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 will also become official on the same day.
New Galaxy Z Fold 8 dummy comes in black, and it shows us the design of Samsung’s first wide foldable
Now, if you check out the gallery below, you’ll see the Galaxy Z Fold 8, in the flesh. Well, you’ll see its dummy unit, which is supposed to be representative of the phone’s design, save for the line straight down the main display.
You get a good look at the phone’s dual camera setup on the back. It will include two vertically aligned cameras in the top-left corner. Those cameras will protrude from the back.
The phone will be short and wide, the complete opposite of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, which will be tall and narrow when folded. Both the power and volume up and down keys are located on the right side, while a Type-C port sits at the bottom.
The Android Headlines Take
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 represents a brand-new form factor for Samsung, as it’s notably different than other foldables the company is offering. These images do give us a great look at what seems to be the final design of the device.
If you’re anything like me, you’re looking forward to this form factor more than the device itself. It will be great for watching horizontal video content and also for side-by-side app multitasking.
