We’ve recently shown you the Galaxy Watch 9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 via official renders. Well, now the specs of both of these upcoming smartwatches have surfaced.
The information comes from WinFuture, and we’ll talk about the Galaxy Watch 9 first. Needless to say, that one will be cheaper, and we have that information as well. Let’s get to it.
The Galaxy Watch 9 specs reveal two models, and an LTE option
The Galaxy Watch 9 will arrive in 40mm and 44mm versions. The smaller version will include a 1.3-inch 438 x 438 display, while the bigger model will have a 1.5-inch 480 x 480 display. Both of them will be round, needless to say.
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear Elite (SW6100) chip will fuel the device, while 2GB of RAM will be included. The source confirmed that a 32GB storage option will be available. The watch will be made out of aluminum, well, its frame will.
This watch will also come with a 5ATM rating. The smaller version will include a 325mAh battery, while the later model will have a 445mAh battery. Bluetooth 6.0 will be on board, as will NFC, dual-band Wi-Fi, and LTE (optonal).
Wear OS 7 will come pre-installed, along with One UI 9. The Galaxy Watch 9 pricing will cost “at least” €409 / €439.
The Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 will be notably pricier, and offer a much bigger battery
The Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, on the other hand, will arrive in a 47mm size. It will include a 1.5-inch 480 x 480 display, and its frame will be made out of titanium. This watch will offer a 10ATM rating.
The Snapdragon Wear Elite (SW6100) will fuel it, the same chip used in the Galaxy Watch 9. This watch will offer 2GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, it seems.
An 800mAh battery will be included, so a much bigger pack than in the Galaxy Watch 9. Bluetooth 6.0 will be included here too, as well as NFC, dual-band Wi-Fi, and LTE.
The Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 will ship with Wear OS 7, along with One UI 9. The price of this watch will be €749 in Europe.
