Ice Universe, one of the best-known and most accurate tipsters around, shared the Galaxy S27 Ultra’s base colors yesterday. Four colors were mentioned: Black, Blue, Light Pink, and White. Well, now the tipster has confirmed another Galaxy S27 Ultra color.
The Galaxy S27 Ultra is getting a “special” Violet color
He claims that a “special color” is also coming: a Violet color. For those of you who don’t know, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is actually available in a Cobalt Violet variant. It is a purple color.
Cobalt Violet model is part of the standard Galaxy S26 Ultra colors, along with Black, White, and Sky Blue. It’s actually a ‘hero’ color for the Galaxy S26 Ultra series.
Judging by the name of the purple color for the Galaxy S27 Ultra, it will be different from the Cobalt Violet variant. Well, unless Samsung ends up adding the ‘Cobalt’ part in front of the ‘Violet’ in its name, but that’s unlikely.
The company tends to change these non-standard colors a bit from one model to the next, so we’re expecting a different shade, at least slightly different. Considering that Ice Universe already mentioned four standard colors and says that this is a ‘special’ color, it could be reserved for Samsung Mobile in terms of availability. We’ll have to wait and see.
We’re expecting to see 6 colors in total
The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra has four standard colors and two colors that were reserved for purchasing the phone directly from Samsung Mobile. We’re expecting a similar setup for the Galaxy S27 Ultra.
This smartphone will become official in the first quarter of next year. It’s coming alongside the Galaxy S27, Galaxy S27+, and Galaxy S27 Pro. Those three phones are expected to arrive in either January or February.
The Galaxy S27 Ultra will feature a new camera island on the back: a horizontal bar. It will also get a main camera upgrade, improved image processing, slightly faster charging, and more.
