Four Samsung Galaxy S25 series smartphones are now getting a new update globally. That goes for the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, Galaxy S25 Ultra, and Galaxy S25 FE.
This new update does not include the November Android security patch that was recently detailed by the company, though. We’ll have to wait a bit longer for that. It does, however, bring some improvements under the hood.
Four Samsung Galaxy S25 phones are receiving a new update, globally
This update brings improvements to the stability and reliability of the devices. Well, of their software. These updates are now rolling out in global markets, and depending on the model and the region, they weigh somewhere between 400 and 800MB.
There don’t seem to be any new features included here; at least none have been mentioned as part of the changelog. The whole point of this update is to improve the performance of the devices.
Your phone will let you know once the update arrives, but you can always check manually if you want. You can do so by navigating to Settings -> Software update -> Check for update.
All the devices mentioned here will be getting the November 2026 Android security update very soon. That update is not expected to deliver any new features either, as it is focused on a security boost.
All of these phones are eligible to get both One UI 9.5, and Android 18-based One UI 10 next year
Do note that all of these devices are also eligible to get One UI 9.5, which is expected to be released early next year, though it will take some time to arrive on these phones. All of these phones will also be getting Android 18-based One UI 10 at some point next year.
This update is rolling out in stages, even though it is rolling out on a global scale now. In other words, you’ll have to be patient, as some of you will receive it before others.
