Chinese automakers have proven that they can produce world-beating EVs at every level. They can make fast-charging ones, affordable ones, and just plain fast ones. Right now, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra holds the record for production EVs at the Nurburgring. When it comes to combustion vehicles, though, China hasn’t quite reached the same peaks. Great Wall Motor (GWM) is aiming to change that, both on the street and on the track. At the Auto China 2026 show, it revealed a new twin-turbo V8 hybrid supercar platform that will surely put the world on notice.
