The Ford Mustang is a rolling piece of America’s postwar mythology. As the old quip goes, it’s as American as apple pie, and given its deep domestic roots, it couldn’t possibly run afoul of any nationalistic tariff rules. But when it comes to the new Mustang GTD, it’s not too easy to make such an assumption.
