
- Simpson Gumpertz & Heger (SGH) announced the opening of its new office location in Tampa. Francesco Spagna and Brian Pailes will lead SGH’s building enclosure and structural mechanics consulting practices. Francesco has spent nearly thirty years building a practice with SGH, first in the Boston area and now in Tampa. He has worked on a wide variety of structures worldwide, with an emphasis on bridges and port facilities. He joined SGH in 2024.
- Lindsey Alexander has joined the West Palm Beach office of Atlantic Retail. Lindsey joins the team as Vice President, bringing over 25 years of experience to Atlantic. She has a proven track record in leasing ground-up, specialty, value-add, and redevelopments in the region. Additionally, Lindsey has provided consulting services for new retail developments and specializes in lifestyle shopping center leasing for REITs as well as private landlords.
- Trademark Property Company is revitalizing Legacy Place, a lifestyle center in Palm Beach Gardens. New additions to the tenant mix include: EōS Fitness, Yoga Joint, Jet Set Pilates, Cabinet IQ of Palm Beach and Tampa General Hospital Cancer. The 18,000-square-foot center is set to open in 2026.
- H Mart, the Asian grocery store, is planning its first location in the Tampa Bay region near Raymond James Stadium. H Mart’s first Tampa store will be near the intersection of West Hillsborough Avenue and North Dale Mabry Highway. Plans have been forwarded for interior demolition at the shopping center at 3908 W. Hillsborough Ave. The interior demolition work will cover 46,000-square-feet in the Horizon Park shopping center.
- The Jacksonville Jaguars are planning a $43 million overhaul at EverBank Stadium. The project, aimed at modernizing the Jaguars’ home and securing the team’s future in Jacksonville for the next 30 years, includes a base capacity of more than 63,000 with expansion capabilities up to 71,500 for a college football game and more for a concert with added lighting and digital technology. The stadium’s design includes a 70% shade canopy.
