First information regarding the upcoming OnePlus Ace 7 has just surfaced, and it’s interesting. The info comes from Smart Pikachu, a Chinese tipster, who shared it via Weibo.
The OnePlus Ace 7 could deliver active cooling
The information says that the OnePlus Ace 7 will include active cooling this time around, and it will pair that with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. So, Qualcomm’s most powerful chip will be used.
The thing is, this phone is expected to arrive in October. The next-gen Qualcomm flagship chip is expected to arrive in Q4 as well. So this chip will either no longer be the flagship chip by then, or it won’t remain a flagship one for long. That’s fine, though, as the Ace series is not meant to be the very best OnePlus has to offer.
The OnePlus Ace 7 should be able to provide a noticeably better gaming performance than its predecessor. It will not only get a brand new chip, but the active cooling should make it possible to sustain absolute peak performance longer than the Ace 6.
The OnePlus Ace 6 was a beastly phone, and the Ace 7 is looking to improve upon that
The OnePlus Ace 6 was all about offering the absolute best it could for the asking price, and that price was quite aggressive. Something similar is expected from the OnePlus Ace 7 as well.
We still don’t have other spec details for this phone, though. It’s only May, and this phone is around half a year old. So… while the details will likely start popping up in the near future, we don’t have them at the moment.
However, the OnePlus Ace 6 offered a huge 7,800mAh silicon-carbon battery, a 165Hz display, and an IP69K rating, amongst other features. So, we’re expecting a lot from the OnePlus Ace 7. In all honesty, even if it simply repeats those features, we won’t complain. As a reminder, the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra launched last week.
