The seemingly never-ending battle for electric cars is to achieve the functionality and convenience of their combustion counterparts. First they had to reach equivalent speeds and range. Then, they needed enough charging stations, which is still something companies are working on. The latest hurdle is being able to charge quickly enough. While the current crop of 350-kW fast chargers are good, what BYD has cooked up is far better. Its latest cars and chargers will apparently fill up as fast as it takes to get a tank of gas.
