Evergreen Development acquired an 11.7-acre parcel north of Signal Butte and Warner in Mesa’s Eastmark submarket to build a mixed-use community that pairs multifamily housing with new retail. The property was purchased from Brookfield.
The development combines apartment homes with a retail center. The multifamily portion will include 261 units across nine three-story buildings. Residents will have access to an amenitized clubhouse, a pool, a fitness center, and outdoor gathering spaces with TVs, BBQ stations, fire pits, and a dog park.
Evergreen plans to break ground in the first quarter of 2027, with lease-up beginning in the second quarter of 2028. Over the past 12 months, the company has started construction on 482 units across two developments, and this project adds to that pipeline.
The retail portion of the site is planned for an approximately 8,500-square-foot multi-tenant retail building for restaurant and retail uses.
