ELO isn’t a large company in the gaming space that most people will have heard of, but the company aims to change that with the arrival of its Sentinel XR Gaming Glasses, which it’s bringing to IFA 2026 this week to showcase some of its hardware functions and software features.
ELO Gaming first arrived on the gaming hardware scene with its launch of the Vagabond controller designed for mobile gaming. It features a telescoping design that’s similar to that of the Razer Kishi V3 and the Backbone One, and uses a direct USB-C connection so there’s no additional power drain from a wireless Bluetooth connection. With the Sentinel XR glasses, ELO Gaming is headed into the territory that’s already occupied by bigger players like ASUS with its ROG XREAL R1 gaming glasses, as well as a few other smaller competitors. But that isn’t stopping ELO from forging ahead.
The company states that Sentinel XR brings a “new and different experience” to the space that will help it stand out from the competition.

The Sentinel XR Gaming Glasses feature dual, Full HD, Sony OLED displays
Among its list of features and specs, the Sentinel XR Gaming Glasses boasts dual Sony OLED displays that have Full HD resolution for crisp visuals and vibrant color reproduction. The displays also feature 120Hz refresh rates, and a 5w-degree field-of-view to help create that immersive visual gaming experience.
ELO says these have a 5,000 nits peak brightness and that they’re compatible with several platforms, including PS5, Windows handhelds, and mobile devices just to name a few. You can also use them for remote play, cloud gaming, and emulation. On top of that these glasses feature dual stereo drivers for audio, and they only weight 80g which ELO says makes them lighter than a lot of the competition. The ELO Sentinel XR Gaming Glasses are already up for pre-order and retail for $599.99, and will be shipping in October.
