Samsung has not offered microSD card slots with its flagship phones for a long time now. In fact, a phone from the Galaxy Z Fold series has never offered storage expansion via the microSD card slot.

Samsung stuck with the microSD card slot on some much cheaper models, but it has not been a part of any of the company’s flagship smartphone series for a long, long time. So, this does not come as a surprise.

The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra comes as the most expensive model in the company’s new foldable phone lineup. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 sits right below it, while the Galaxy Z Flip 8 is the most affordable one… and yet still very pricey.

The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, in case you’re unaware, starts at $2,099. The Galaxy Z Fold 8’s pricing starts at $1,899, while the Galaxy Z Flip 8 is priced at $1,199. It is still over $1,000, but it’s notably more affordable than the other two phones.

The phone is fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC globally. It has an 8-inch main panel and a 6.5-inch cover display. Samsung opted for a 5,000mAh battery here, while the device supports 45W wired and 20W wireless charging.
