NorthPoint Development has officially commenced the design, engineering and permitting for the backbone infrastructure needed to deliver the recently approved Airport South Industrial Park located in the City of Sacramento. Airport South is an approximately 4.7-million-square-foot industrial park, with plans to commence infrastructure construction by 2028.
Colliers’ Mark Demetre, Michael Hoo and Nathan Miller have been awarded the leasing assignment for four industrial buildings totaling nearly four million square feet on behalf of NorthPoint.
“There are very few remaining opportunities to develop large-scale distribution facilities within Sacramento’s primary logistics corridors, making Airport South a uniquely positioned site,” said Hoo. “The project is well-suited to attract major occupiers from across Northern California that can benefit from Sacramento’s labor market, transportation connectivity, and strategic regional location. NorthPoint is maintaining flexibility in its approach and is evaluating a range of development strategies, including build-to-suit facilities, speculative development, and potential land sales to owner-users.”
