Capital Group, the world’s largest active global investment manager, is adding a new office at Rudin’s 345 Park Ave. in Midtown Manhattan’s Plaza District. The firm will occupy the entire 70,400-square-foot fourth floor of 345 Park in a 10-year lease and will move in during the fall of 2027 while maintaining its current space at 399 Park Ave.
Founded in 1931, Capital Group now manages $3.6 trillion in assets for millions of wealth management and institutional clients around the world from 34 offices that house more than 9,000 employees. “345 Park Ave.’s prime location, large floor plates, and our upcoming amenity enhancements distinguish it as a best-in-class asset,” said Michael Rudin, Co-CEO at Rudin. “We are pleased to accommodate Capital Group’s continued growth in the Plaza District and commitment to New York City.”
Robert Steinman, SVP of office leasing, represented Rudin in-house. Chris Mansfield, Frank Scott, David Opper, Zachary Weil, Eddie Sisca and Trevor Larkin of CBRE represented Capital Group.
