After 18 months of sheer turmoil in the US market for battery-electric vehicles, signs of stability are emerging, and that’s very good news for General Motors and other automakers that bet heavily on exploding EV demand. Sure, the EV market plummeted after federal tax credits disappeared last Oct. 1, but what about EV shoppers who don’t need a $7,500 spiff to close the deal, who breathe different air than the rest of us shlubs?
