Transwestern brokered the acquisition of Piedmont Place, a 94,000-square-foot, four-story office building at 3520 Piedmont Road Northeast in Atlanta. Transwestern’s Bradley Fulkerson and Austin Hibbard represented Christ Covenant Church, which acquired the property from Hall Capital for $16.9 million, or $179 a square foot. Transwestern has also been retained to provide Agency Leasing and Asset Services for the Class A Buckhead property.
“Since 2017, Christ Covenant Church has grown to more than 2,000 members and three campuses in metro Atlanta. At Piedmont Place, the Church has an opportunity to build a central gathering place to serve its membership today and reach the City of Atlanta well into the future,” said Jason Dees, Senior Pastor at Christ Covenant.
Built in 1983, Christ Covenant plans to operate the property as a multi-tenant office building in the short term and develop a long-term campus, including the addition of a 2,500-seat sanctuary.
