Aston Martin Is Bringing Its Most Powerful Lineup Yet To Goodwood

The Goodwood Festival of Speed (FOS) is considered one of the most vital automotive events in the world. Not only is it a historical one because of the hillclimb and the revival race series, but it also takes place annually, giving brands a chance to use it as a platform to show off new cars as well as heritage models.

Given that the event is held in the United Kingdom, it showcases the very best of British automotive manufacturers. Keen to impress for 2026, Aston Martin is bringing out some heavy hitters.

S Family at FOS

For the 34th installment of the Goodwood Festival of Speed, which will be held from July 9-12, Aston Martin announced it will display “the most powerful and dramatic line-up” the brand has ever created.

Headlining the automaker’s powerful lineup is the super touring DB12 S. Powering this car is a 4.0-liter AMG-derived twin-turbo V8 that makes 690 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque. The transmission is an 8-speed automatic tuned for 120-millisecond shifts. It has a 0-60 mph time of 3.4 seconds and, according to Aston Martin, is the most powerful front-engined, non-hybrid V8 in its class.

Joining the DB12 S are its sibling, the Vantage S, and the DBX S. The Vantage S is the most performance- and track-focused model in the lineup, featuring an equally impressive 670 hp. Its handling characteristics have also been retuned for better drive feel. DBX S, meanwhile, brings that more performance-focused edge to the luxury SUV segment – delivering the best of all worlds to the all-wheel drive five-seater. It features a very powerful 717-hp motor driving all four wheels.

Valhalla and F1

Part of the treat for this year’s FOS, Aston Martin will also be displaying its latest supercar. Based on the hyper-performance Valkyrie, the recently launched Valhalla has 1,069 hp courtesy of a 4.0-liter turbocharged V8, aided by three electric motors. Last but not least is the AMR25 F1 car, which will actually take part in the hillclimb, driven by Jak Crawford and Jessica Hawkins.
