Well, we’re now getting more details about these devices, and it seems Apple might borrow a security feature from the Pixel for its smart displays.
According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is testing the upcoming smart home screen in several employees’ homes. It will reportedly feature Wi-Fi support, an advanced display, a camera, and microphones. The report also says the smart home display will have an easy-to-use UI that looks like a mashup of iOS, tvOS, and watchOS.
