Motorola appears to be having a busy 2026 in terms of smartphone launches. After debuting the Motorola Edge 70 in a luxurious Swarovski makeover late last year and Motorola Edge 70 Pro last month, it seems the company is finally getting ready to launch the Motorola Edge (2026). In fact, we may now have leaked renders of the alleged Motorola Edge (2026), all thanks to folks at Digital Citizen. This comes right before the one-year launch anniversary of the Motorola Edge (2025).
Leaked renders of the Motorola Edge (2026) hints at triple rear camera setup, premium back, and flat display
At first glance, the leaked renders of the alleged Motorola Edge (2026) look similar to its predecessor. However, the device appears more premium this time around. As you can see in the renders below, the device reportedly flaunts a “warm champagne gold” color. As far as design is concerned, Motorola appears to be going with a flat display this time around. To compare, the Motorola Edge (2025) features a curved pOLED display.
As reported, the highlight of the Motorola Edge (2026) is its rear panel, which looks premium and features what appears to be a woven fabric finish. Not to mention, it could be a lifesaver for butterfingers and those who care a lot about fingerprint marks on the back. Again, only if the leak holds true.
Speaking of optics, there’s a triple rear camera setup at the back. When zoomed in, some text is visible on the outer ring of the camera module. It hints at OIS support, a Super Zoom feature, and a Sony LYTIA lens, possibly for the primary camera. On the front, you can spot a punch-hole selfie camera.
Specs of the device is unclear as of now
On the right edge, the renders of the alleged Motorola Edge (2026) show the volume rocker and power button. It’s unclear what the button on the top-left edge is meant for. The frame also features the same warm gold tone as the back panel. As of now, specs of the smartphone are unclear. As the launch nears, we’ll likely learn more about it. Considering Motorola launched the Moto Edge (2025) in May 2025 last year, we expect this year’s version to launch sometime in late May or possibly June.
