Acer is headed to Computex 2026 which officially begins on June 2, but it’s announcing new products ahead of the convention and those products include a trio of new tablets. The Acer Iconia Duo S14, Acer Iconia Duo S12, and Acer Iconia Duo D12 are all tablets with large displays and at least 2K resolution.
In addition to these new tablets, Acer is also launching new products in the Predator and Nitro gaming lineups. The Acer Predator Helios 18 AI is the brand’s big boy flagship gaming laptop. It features up to an RTX 5090 GPU so you already know that this is going to be a rather beefy machine. It’s also powered by an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor 290HX Plus CPU, comes with an 18-inch Mini LED WQUXGA display, and it even features dual-mode switching.
Similar to how MSI’s new monitor offers tri-mode switching, Acer’s Predator Helios 18 AI will let you swap between 120Hz at 4K and 240Hz at FHD. Acer also says it can come with up to 265GB of RAM and up to 6TB of storage. If you don’t need something this powerful, the new Nitro 16 shaves things down a bit to an RTX 5070 Ti with considerably less RAM and storage for the maximum supported amounts. Interestingly, Acer is also launching a streaming-first handheld called the Nitro Blaze Link. So if cloud gaming is either your main way to play or just something you do occasionally, this could be an option for you. if you prefer local gaming, then there’s the Predator Atlas 8.
Acer brings three new tablets to Computex 2026 and they launch in the next few months
The Acer Iconia Duo S14, Acer Iconia Duo S12, and Acer Iconia Duo D12 all launch in the next few months, which is probably great news for anyone seeking out a new tablet. According to Acer, the Iconia Duo D12 launches in September of this year, while the other two models will launch in August.
The main takeaway here should be the screen sizes. As the names suggest, the Duo S14 comes with a 14-inch display. A display that’s 14.2 inches to be exact. The Duo S12 and Duo D12 come with displays that are 12.2 inches in size. So as mentioned before, these are al big tablets. It may not seem like it when you compare these sizes to PC monitors, but in the tablet world this is pretty massive.
Display resolution is a bit different. The Duo S14 and Duo S12 both feature 2.8K OLED panels. The Duo D12, meanwhile, has a 2400 x 1600 display. It’s also labeled as the entry-level tablet, while the Duo S12 is supposed to be the premium option, and the Duo S14 is meant more for productivity. Therefore, it’s likely a great choice for businesses.
