As we get closer to Samsung’s Summer Unpacked event, which is likely going to take place next month in London, we’re starting to see more and more leaks. This time around, it’s a case leak from Thinborne. They make very thin Aramid Carbon Fiber cases for most phones, and they do look quite good – especially the blue version on my Galaxy S26 Ultra.
Thinborne has shared their case for the Galaxy Z Flip 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8, and the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. And they pretty much tell us what we’ve already seen. Which is that the Galaxy Z Fold 8 is going to be much wider than the Ultra. Keep in mind that the current thinking is that the ‘wide’ version will be the Galaxy Z Fold 8, while the usual skinnier model is going to be the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra.
The camera cutouts also tend to line up with the leaks we’ve seen. Showing two cameras on the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and three on the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra.
Unsurprisingly, the Galaxy Z Flip 8 looks exactly as we expected. It might be a tad wider this year. But for the most part, it’s the same sort of flip phone Samsung has been releasing over the past few years.
Unpacked is rumored to take place in mid-July
Despite the earlier Unpacked event being moved to February for the Galaxy S26 this year, instead of taking place in January, Samsung is reportedly sticking with July for their Summer Unpacked event.
There’s been a few leaks that the Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on July 22 in London. That is a tad later than usual for Samsung, typically it has been the week after the July 4th holiday in the US. So it was July 9th last year and July 10th the year before.
