As a new-car buyer, you want your ride to retain as much of its value as possible. Sadly, that’s not always the case. Last year, a 2024 Alfa Romeo Stelvio with only 274 miles on the clock crossed the auction block on Bring A Trailer. The kicker? The final price was over $20,000 less than the asking price just two years earlier. For those with an affinity for math, that means this particular Stelvio lost roughly $75 for every mile it was driven.
