Big screen, bold performance — JMGO redefines 4K at IFA 2025
This year, IFA brought out a ton of great products to the halls at Messe Berlin, including the JMGO O2S Ultra 4K, which is a new 4K projector that really caught our attention. This is a fairly small tri-laser short-throw projector which really impressed us. And that’s why we have awarded it with a “Best of IFA 2025” award.
The JMGO O2S Ultra 4K is also insanely bright, with 3,500 ANSI Lumens, which is going to make it great for seeing in brighter rooms. Even without an ALR screen for the projector. JMGO has included support for Dolby Vision HDR, HLG, and HDR10. So it’s supporting all of the latest HDR standards that you could want.
Speaking of the picture quality, this projector is able to do 4K resolution at 60Hz, or 1080p at 120Hz. It can also provide you with a screen size of up to 150 inches, though JMGO does recommend 110-120 inches.
Powered by Google TV, JMGO’s new projector makes it simple to set up and use
JMGO is one of the few projectors on the market with Google TV built in instead of Android TV. Which makes it super easy to set it up, and also use it on a regular basis. On top of that, JMGO has included great hardware in the O2S Ultra 4K, so that performance won’t be an issue here. This includes the MediaTek MT9679, with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. That storage is a big deal, as streaming apps are getting bigger and bigger. Many streaming dongles only offer 32GB of storage. So this is a great move by JMGO.
There’s also a pretty decent speaker setup inside the JMGO O2S Ultra 4K. There’s a 20W dual speaker setup here, which should be fine for most people. But if you want more sound, you can still connect a soundbar to one of the HDMI ports that’s included. JMGO has included two HDMI ports here, with one being an eARC port – perfect for a soundbar.
And this is why the JMGO O2S Ultra 4K earned our “Best of IFA 2025” award this year.
