Samsung is working on its upcoming wireless earbuds, the Galaxy Buds 3 FE. While the South Korean tech giant hasn’t shared any official details yet, various certification listings provide some insight into what to expect. The Galaxy Buds 3 FE recently received FCC and SGS Fimko certifications, indicating significant improvements, especially in battery capacity.
Galaxy Buds 3 FE certified by FCC and SGS Fimko with significant battery improvements
The Galaxy Buds 3 FE took a step closer to an official release this past weekend by receiving certifications from both the FCC and SGS Fimko. These listings also reveal key details about the upcoming wireless earbuds.
The SGS Fimko listing suggests that the device will bring major improvements in battery life and charging capabilities.
Here, the Galaxy Buds 3 FE will sport a 900mAh charging case, marking a substantial increase compared to the previous generation. That’s not all, the listing confirms that each earbud will house a 100mAh battery.
For those unfamiliar, the original model released in 2023 featured a charging case with a capacity of 479mAh. Each earbud had a 60mAh battery. This means users can expect significantly longer battery life with the new model.
The FCC listing, on the other hand, confirms only tech details like the headset’s Bluetooth connectivity. Unfortunately, no information about the device’s audio technology is available at this time.
When will Samsung’s next budget-friendly earbuds hit the market?
Samsung hasn’t announced a release date for the Galaxy Buds 3 FE. However, according to some sources, the company plans to unveil the model in October 2025.
Finally, according to images shared in mid-July, the earbuds will have black silicone tips and a look similar to the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro with Blade Design.
