OnePlus has begun rolling out ‘Plus Mind’, its new AI tool, to the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R. We’re talking about a worldwide rollout here, as the update is on its way to your phone as we speak… if it has not arrived already.
The OnePlus 13 & 13R are now getting ‘Plus Mind’ AI
Plus Mind is OnePlus’ new personal intelligence tool, which was announced back in May. This tool is expected to help you manage the large volume of digital content you encounter on a daily basis. It’s supposed to make sure you get all the relevant information.
OnePlus envisioned Plus Mind as a tool that would simplify the storage, organization, and retrieval of fragmented information through the integration of OnePlus AI. The OnePlus 13s aka 13T has a ‘Plus Key’ for the activation of ‘Plus Mind’, but that’s not the case with these two phones.
On these two phones, you’ll activate the gesture with a simple swipe gesture. You can send various information, including webpages, images, messages, and social media posts to Plus Mind by performing an upward three-finger swipe across the screen.
As many of you may know, the opposite of that (a three-finger swipe down) will take a screenshot on both OnePlus and OPPO smartphones.
Once you activate it, this tool can analyze content on the screen
Once you activate Plus Mind, it will analyze the captured content and suggest relevant actions. For example, it can add calendar events for dates identified within the content. The data captured will be available to you via Mind Space, which is a new app on the two phones.
You can also access Mind Space information by using the AI Search bar, which is accessible by swiping down on the home screen. Mind Space does include OnePlus’ AI tech to understand content, generate descriptions, information, and tags.
Do note that the rollout of this update is staged, so it may take a while before it reaches your phone. It could take several weeks, even. Be patient.
