Samsung rolls out third One UI 9.0 beta to Galaxy A15 5G
The third One UI 9.0 beta arrives with firmware version ending in ZZJ8. Updating to the latest version requires installing an over-the-air update package that weighs around 335MB in size. The update is currently rolling out to the eligible Galaxy A15 5G users in India. Users residing in other regions should get the update in the coming days. However, do note that the tech giant has not shared any official word on the release plan yet.
The update doesn’t add any new features to the device. Instead, it continues to fix bugs and issues reported in the earlier beta builds. Samsung‘s official changelog confirms that the company has fixed an issue causing the phone to restart repeatedly after a software upgrade. There may be other changes under the hood; however, the release notes do not highlight broader changes.
The update fixes as many as 62 known issues
Alongside the latest October 2026 security patch, the third One UI 9.0 beta for the Galaxy A15 5G fixes a total of 62 known issues. Galaxy A15 5G owners in India can check their eligibility through the Samsung Members app.
Users who see the One UI 9.0 beta banner can register for the program. However, users will only be enrolled if participant slots remain available. After registration, they can navigate to Settings, select Software update, and tap the option to download and install the latest build. Last but not least, users should keep in mind that beta builds are meant for testing purposes and they tend to have some bugs and issues. Therefore, those using the Galaxy A15 5G as a primary phone are not advised to install the update.
