The Liberty 5 Pro launched back in May alongside the Liberty 5 Pro Max, and they were the first earbuds to use Anker’s THUS AI chip. That chip does much of the heavy lifting. Anker paired it with 10 sensors for calls, resulting in a Guinness World Record for the highest speech quality score on true wireless earbuds. Whether you’re whispering in a quiet office or talking over a loud subway, the person on the other end will hear you.
Noise cancellation also got a big upgrade. Adaptive ANC 4.0 processes more than 384,000 noise signals per second, and Anker says it’s twice as effective as the Liberty 4 Pro. That’s a serious jump for earbuds in this price range.
HearID 5.0 tunes the sound to your ears, and it supports LDAC and Dolby Atmos. You also get 20 offline voice commands to skip tracks or answer calls hands-free, plus a small touchscreen on the case for quick controls.
Battery life comes in at 6.5 hours with ANC on and 28 hours total with the case. A five-minute charge gets you four hours of playback, and the case supports wireless charging. An IP55 rating means sweat and rain aren’t a problem either.
Anker has had a busy year, unifying all of its brands under the Anker name and launching new gear like the MagGo 2 Pro power bank.
