Appliances like heaters are meant to serve a specific purpose. When it’s winter and you’re trying to keep warm, that’s where it comes in. Other times, you might keep it in your cupboard or garage, out of sight. But with the DREO Whole-Room Heater 720S, unveiled at IFA 2026, might actually be worth keeping it out all the time, even if you don’t use it.
DREO Whole-Room Heater 720S is a work of art
Now, like we said, heaters are designed to solve a specific problem. So if it gets the job done, who cares what it looks like, right? However, the DREO Whole-Room Heater 720S actually looks pretty cool for a heater. There’s a display on the front that shows you the current temperature, the body of the heater has a nice gradient effect, plus you can find some touch controls too.
But it’s not just purely for show. The 720S is also just as functional as a regular heater, if not more so. It features what DREO is calling AutoShift Technology. This involves a motorized lifting mechanism that uses a precision stepper motor to make changes to the airflow. It can raise or lower the upper structure and enables Focused Mode or 360-degree Whole-Room Mode.
In Focused Mode, the heater concentrates airflow for targeted personal warmth, increasing airflow velocity by approximately 35%. In 360-degree Mode, it delivers even heat distribution designed for rooms up to 25 square meters.
It is also powered by a BLDC motor and a forward-curved centrifugal fan. This helps to generate higher static pressure required for stable performance while keeping operating noise down to 25 dB. Coupled with a compact PTC ceramic heating element and 1500W Hyperamics technology, the company claims the heater can reach its target temperature in 2 seconds.
How much will this cost?
That being sad, the DREO Whole-Room Heater 720S won’t come cheap. It is priced at €119.99, which is on the higher side of things. For context, portable fan or ceramic PTC space heaters run from €25 to €60, so clearly you’re paying a premium here. However, if the eye-catching design and its smart features are to your liking, then why not? DREO has not mentioned when it will become available. But we’ll keep our eyes peeled for more info.
