Circular is expanding its wearable lineup with the debut of the Circular Ring 3 Slim and Circular Ring 3 Pro at the ongoing IFA 2026 trade show. The company’s new rings are bringing back physical vibration alerts, while introducing a highly anticipated tap-to-pay payments feature. With these new features, Circular aims to compete directly with popular smartwatches by offering essential health tracking and daily conveniences in a smaller package.
The Circular Ring 3 Slim model brings contactless payments and useful vibration alerts
The first of the two new Circular products is the Circular Ring 3 Slim. It is a much more compact offering that measures 5.9mm wide and 2.35mm thick. Depending on the size you pick, it weighs just 1.9 to 3 grams. The new Ring’s outer shell uses titanium, while the inner side uses an epoxy material.
Circular claims the Ring 3 Slim flaunts up to 10 days of battery life on a single charge. For daily tracking, the wearable handles the basics well. It can monitor glucose trends, track your sleep stages, and monitor daily activity levels, heart rate, and skin temperature.
The biggest highlights of the new Circular rings are the payment and haptic systems. The wearable will support tap-to-pay for Visa and Mastercard so you can buy items without pulling out a wallet.
As for the physical vibration feature, it doesn’t handle your messages or phone call notifications. Instead, it serves as a silent alarm to wake you up in the morning. It can also remind you to take medication and give you a physical tap if it detects potential health issues.
The Ring 3 Pro variant adds advanced health sensors and titanium materials
The Circular Ring 3 Pro aims at users who want deeper health data and a more premium design. The wearable wraps up everything in an all-titanium build that is slightly larger and heavier than the slim model. Because of the bigger frame, it houses a larger battery that delivers up to 12 days of usage on a single charge.
The Ring 3 Pro offers all the tracking features found in the Ring 3 Slim variant, but also offers an FDA-cleared electrocardiogram. It can detect signs of atrial fibrillation and offers sensors that track your overall blood pressure trends.
Circular hasn’t yet revealed the pricing or USA availability details of the Ring 3 Slim and Ring 3 Pro at the trade event. However, the company did note that it’ll reveal the pre-order and release details in the coming months. Since the older Circular Ring 2 starts at $349, expect the new lineup to start below this price range.
