In an unusual move for a brand-new halo model, Genesis is offering zero-percent financing on the 2027 GV60 Magma immediately at launch. Automakers typically reserve subsidized APR deals for aging inventory or high-volume base trims, but Genesis is using low-rate incentives out of the gate to launch its flagship performance EV.
Starting at $71,495 including destination, the 641-horsepower GV60 Magma delivers 0-60 mph acceleration in 3.4 seconds. By extending its standard line-wide incentives to its top-tier performance crossover, Genesis is positioning the vehicle aggressively against both German luxury rivals and mainstream electric competitors.

Tesla in its Crosshairs
Under the brand’s national dealer bulletin, buyers can secure 0% APR for 60 months or 0.99% APR for 72 months through September 8, the exact same terms available on the base GV60. At $71,495, the Magma undercuts the entry-level Porsche Macan EV by roughly $11,100, while sitting just $3,845 above a gas-powered base Macan.
When initial reports confirmed the crossover’s American arrival, buyers braced for a high sticker price. Early speculation suggested its estimated price might match its Hyundai platform sibling. While official pricing confirms a $10,000 premium over the Ioniq 5 N, promotional financing significantly alters the overall value proposition against competitors like the 2026 Tesla Model Y Performance.
The Model Y Performance carries a lower sticker price of $59,380, but Tesla’s higher 3.99% APR rate closes the payment gap. Over a 60-month loan, the actual financial difference between the two vehicles shrinks from $12,115 down to approximately $5,900. While Tesla holds a clear edge in driving range, 306 miles compared to the Magma’s estimated 222 miles, the Genesis counters with superior cabin luxury and an additional 131 horsepower in Boost Mode.

Putting Their Cards Down
Offering interest-free financing on a high-output halo vehicle reflects a deliberate push by Genesis to capture market share from established luxury and EV benchmarks. Rather than relying strictly on performance figures to draw buyers, the brand is using financial incentives to lower the total cost of ownership barrier on its most capable platform.
While the 222-mile range may deter buyers who frequently travel long distances, the GV60 Magma delivers an exceptional performance-per-dollar ratio on a financed purchase. Buyers aiming to take advantage of the 0% APR rate have until September 8, when the current incentive period ends.
